The program is delivered in structured phases to ensure safety and long-term success.
1. Eligibility & Screening
You complete a detailed medical questionnaire — either through the online eligibility quiz (if you're new to Everlab) or via the Everlab app — under Services → Consults & Treatments → Medical Weight Management Program (if you're an existing member).
A clinician reviews your BMI, health history, medications, and risk factors. If appropriate, you'll be approved to begin treatment.
2. Clinical Onboarding
You'll have a consultation with an Everlab doctor to confirm eligibility, review your health history, discuss program risks, and set your goals.
If you're new to Everlab, this may also include eligibility diagnostics (DEXA scan and focused blood tests) to ensure the program is safe for you. In some cases, your doctor may clear you to begin medication right away, with diagnostics available to complete at your convenience.
3. Initiation Phase (Weeks 1–4)
You begin at a low starting dose (2.5mg). This is not a maintenance dose — the goal is tolerability and side effect minimisation.
We do not fast-track dose increases, as this increases side effects without improving outcomes.
4. Titration Phase
Every 4 weeks (minimum), your dose may increase depending on:
- Side effects
- Weight loss response
- Clinical safety markers
Not everyone needs the highest dose. We aim for the minimum effective dose — this means fewer side effects and lower costs.
5. Maintenance Phase
Once you reach an effective and well-tolerated dose:
- Focus shifts to sustainable fat loss
- Muscle preservation becomes a priority
- Lifestyle support becomes central
Throughout this phase, you'll have quarterly video consultations and weekly progress check-ins via the Everlab app.
6. Long-Term Planning
GLP-1 medications are designed for long-term use. If stopping is appropriate, we create a structured plan to reduce rebound weight gain and support maintenance. Our program includes off-boarding planning from day one.
