We completely understand that mistakes can happen when receiving your test kit, and a replacement may be needed. Below you'll find the most common reasons a replacement is required and how to arrange one.
When You Might Need a Replacement
There are two main situations where a replacement kit may be necessary:
Damaged ice pack - If your test kit arrives and the ice pack is leaking or broken, the kit may not be suitable for completing your test.
Non-viable sample - If you've already returned your sample and the partner provider lab determines it isn't viable, they will notify you directly and send a new test kit so you can recollect your sample.
How to Request a Replacement
If your test kit has arrived and you believe it is not of a suitable standard for completing your testing, you can contact our provider directly by emailing hello@microba.com. Their team will assess whether the kit is still usable or whether a replacement needs to be sent out.
